Inspired {of course} by…
The lovely bees I'm helping to keep this year! So far, I haven't been brave enough to actually get hands-on and pick up one of the frames. But I'm just fascinated by the mass of them. Amazing how they hold on to each-other in kind of a "bee chain" when we try to get into the box.
So cool. :) I can't wait until we have honey.

Thanks Micki,
I thought of you when I was posting those bee photos & knew it would freak you out! I’ll have to post a warning next time. ๐

Love your Bee Girl!
I found your blog through Kelly Rae’s Flying lessons course and just thought I’d stop in and say HI!
I’ve always thought it would be really cool to keep bees. My husband hates all insects with a deep passion though so I don’t think I’ll become a beekeeper anytime soon ;).
Ahhh! I’ve collected honeybees for years bc my husband and I met in a Spanish class many years ago and the teacher would call on him when he and I would be chatting and flirting. He would then give a wrong answer bc he wasn’t paying attention and she would say, “no, no, no, Honeybee!” so it’s the term of endearment we use for one another.
All that to say… I love your bee girl. And all those bees!
Thanks “Blue Moon Mama” ๐ Can’t wait for our class to start officially, but it’s been so fun meeting people through our blogs. I’ll keep posting bee updates throughout the summer so you can see what it’s like. (So far, not as scary as I thought it might be.)
Kerri, I looove your honeybee story! So sweet and funny. Thank you & I’m glad you like the painting.
