Have you guys seen these foam kit things? They seem to appear at Michael's for every holiday. With absolutely no practical use, and not really being a piece of fine art you'd want to keep – I know I shouldn't want one. They must appeal to the kid in me though, because I always find myself gazing longingly at the various kits. This time I gave in! Just look at the cute little door…
Shopping just 2 days before Valentine's, it was on sale for about $4 and I got at least that amount of enjoyment from it. At some point I got bored with sticking on all the glittery shingles though, so it remains half-roofed.
It was nice to do something crafty, even if a little silly. ♥ I've been so busy with my first semester of school that my creative life has been taking a back seat. Or rather, it's been channeled into writing essays. :) A couple more months though, and I'll have the summer free to craft & blog & play! In the meantime, I enjoy study breaks here and there to visit all the lovely blogs of my talented friends. Thanks for keeping me inspired girls!
