This was my doll as shown a couple days ago. Since that point, I had painted her & made 3 different skirts but she just wasn't coming together in a way that spoke to me. Something was off. So out came the clay and now she's feeling much more like my style of girl!
I've completely changed the color scheme and she's got a new, spring dress to wear. She should be finished soon. ๐
I also wanted to share this… A little Moose calf was in my yard Saturday morning! I'm not sure where it's momma was, but he was sure cute. It was very early & quiet. When I stepped out on the porch, we just kind of looked at each other for a minute ~ like we were both surprised that anyone else was out. Then he continued nibbling on the tree & I hopped in the car. I ended up seeing 2 more moose (a momma & baby together) on my way across town. Guess it pays to be up so early. โฅ

Your doll looks great! I love the changes you made and can’t wait to see a photo of her finished!! I can’t believe you get to see moose – one animal I’ve never seen in the wild. Some day…:)
I really like the textured hair you’ve made in the updated version. Lorie
A BIG YES on changes to the doll the face is now so simple and SWEET!!! The other one was going well too but when I see this one I think it is moving in a great direction…Keep us posted. Say hi to the moose. Sadly last night the Coyotes killed a bunny in the green belt along our condo. It woke us all up with all the yipping and such… I guess they have to eat too.Hugs Julie
I can’t wait to see your doll finished.
I am so jealous- I have always wanted to see a moose other than on TV. ๐
