It was crisp & sparkly today. Clear blue sky ~ pretty! But also -5 degrees! Brrrrr. So I laced up my shoes & hopped on the treadmill for awhile. Then…time for more painting:I already like this girl! After much staring at the blank space & trying to see what should go where before I get the glue out – I'm starting to get the hang of my collage layout. I hope this process gets more intuitive. I like to jump right in usually, but with these girls I'm having to do more planning so I don't muck them up. There are 3 boards in the works so I can keep things moving while I wait for different components to dry.
Speaking of mucking things up (not too badly though) – I had to tweak yesterday's board because there were just too many focal points. Reluctantly, the big heart had to go. Sad! (I like a good heart shape.) But it's looking more balanced now. Stay tuned. ♥
