Ok, I’m just a tad bit excited that my buttons arrived! This is the cute package they came in from the fabulous Busy Beaver Buttons:

Too fun! It’s so satisfying to see them all done up and ready to go! Although I do have to admit – I didn’t realize they had such a "patriotic" color palette until I saw them all together – opps! They were just meant to be Christmas-y. (The Mouse Queen kind of reminded me of the Nutcracker.) Anyway – I’ll have them available in the shop on Saturday (possibly sooner) and if you only wear one at a time you’ll still be right in sync with the holiday season.
I wish I could show you what else came in the mail today from a super-talented artist on Etsy, but it’s getting to be Christmas time. Which = secret time! Receiving the gift I ordered reminded me of the many reasons it’s fun to buy from an individual instead of a big store. Aside from the actual item being wonderful and well made – the package came all decorated and with a thank you note & extra little prize. How great is that? Plus, I feel good having contributed to another artist’s ability to be creative as a livelihood. Warm fuzzies all around.
