Normally, the title of a magazine wouldn't warrant an exclamation point in the title of a post. But this isn't just any magazine. Aside from being an always rich & lovely publication…
My blog is featured in this issue! Yay! This is the fall issue that hits the stands on August 1st. To celebrate, I'd like to give away a copy. {With some other little surprises too.}
If you'd like to toss your hat into the ring for a chance to win, please leave a comment on this post by midnight on August 7th. To make it more interesting – the topic of your comment should be "My favorite, never-fail way to brighten a dreary, bad-mood kind of day is…"
Can't wait to hear what some of your best pick-me-ups are! I'll draw for & announce the winner on August 8th.
♥
p.s. Email me if you seem to be having trouble leaving a comment on the blog. It was having some technical glitches with receiving comments awhile back, but that should be remedied. But if all else fails you can enter by sending your note to [email protected]. Thanks!

I love snuggling with my girls… the best!
Congrats on the magazine! Very impressive!!
Christy 🙂
Thanks everybody! I just wanted to put in Micki’s great idea too since she originally had to email it to me (a few technical glitches).
She says, “My favourite way to lighten up a dreary day is a carpet picnic with my daughter and all her toys lol, we always have lots of giggles when we do that, my 11 year old son won’t join in though, he says it’s silly.”
I would have to say playing with and watching my 2 little grandsons discovering the world around them. The 20 month old got all brave a few days ago and let himself down into my chickens yard. Nana,(me), was so proud.
Congratulations Karen I am very happy for you.
my favorite way to brighten a dreary kind of day is to pick flowers from the garden and put them in pretty glass bottles all over the house.
“My favorite, never-fail way to brighten a dreary, bad-mood kind of day is…” making my baby giggle
also I have discovered that it is impossible to stay in a bad mood and wiggle my toes at the same time
My favorite way to brighten a dreary kind of day is to happen on your blog on the very last day of your drawing! ;o) Actually, coffee and chocolate do the trick for me on a dreary day.
my favorite way to brighten up a not so bright day is to go for a long walk with my camera in hand. This tends to help me get to a good space. A cute boy works too…
