Mushrooms in Multiples
It all started with one little mushroom drawing. The shape really appealed to me, so I just kept going. These are all 5×5" canvases. As summer inches closer, my mind turns to camping. Since I can't quite go yet (snowing today!) I thought I'd do some camping art. Take a look at the fun things

Easter Delivery
Preparing some little Easter goodies for my co-workers. These were so fun and simple to put together! I started with the muslin gift bags from Flirtdeux shop on Etsy. Then just tucked in a bit of pale pink paper Easter grass and a chocolate bunny. The tags are made from images downloaded from Vintage Images

Chocolate Nests
Love that little hen. :) You'll see more of those as I post the rest of my Easter basket project here soon. Did a bit of baking today. Well, maybe not baking so much as chocolate melting/stirring/squishing into muffin pans. Does that count? ♥

Lychee
While looking through some old photos tonight, I found this series I made of Lychee fruit. They were so beautiful, I just had to set up lights and shoot some photos before slicing them open to eat. This next image is my favorite of the four… I thought it had kind of a painterly quality.

First Day of Spring
Spring in Alaska…such as it is. :) Guess it will still be awhile before I can ride my bike! It was nearly 50 degrees today though, so everything was melty and drippy. A good sign that green grass will show itself soon. The chickens will be thrilled to get out & scratch around in the
