Oh my gosh, I am SO excited to have found the announcement for this felted birdhouse workshop! I saw these two photos online years ago…
and saved them in my "cute felt things" file just to admire once in awhile.
I hadn't looked at Betz's blog for awhile ~ I don't really sew, but I love felt so I keep her blog on my "route" – so it was just a happy accident that I saw her post about the workshop tonight. It starts tomorrow! I didn't see a cut-off date for signing up, but it sounds like she's got it organized in such a way that you can jump in during the two weeks and still be up-to-speed. I signed up right away – the $25 fee is very reasonable.
This will be the perfect project for the end of summer. My fall semester at school starts on Sept. 2nd and after that I'll be too busy to get much crafting done for awhile. Plus, I have 2 huge bins of already felted sweaters just ready to go. :) Let me know if you sign up too ~ let's make things together!
