  • To-Go Cup

Despite having 2 or 3 reusable go-cups for my coffee, I've just always preferred the feel of the disposable ones.  I'm trying to cut back on my $5 coffee-a-day habit though, so I stopped by Costco and bought bag of plain, disposable cups.  ($13 bucks for 170 cups.)  That way, I can make use of

  • For Zelda

I got an email this evening from my friend asking if I could paint a princess for her daughter, Zelda.  (To whom I'm an honorary aunt!  Love that little girl.)  I started out doing a rough sketch so I could get an idea of where I wanted to go with the painting.  But I kind

  • Happy Halloween!

Reaching back into the archives here.  :)  I drew Pumpkin Girl in 2007 when I was just learning to draw characters.  She looks a little worried, but still pretty cute I think.  ♥

  • Girl at Play

Maybe it's the color combos, but these critters remind me of the Calico Cat & the Gingham Dog storybook I had as a kid.  Or maybe they remind me of stuffed animals I had…I don't quite recall, but there's something nostalgic for me here. It's all thanks to Carla Sonheim that I started doodling tonight.
