Friday Night at the Middle Way Cafe
Ta-Da! My paintings are out in public! This is the art show I mentioned…the reason I made the Hansel & Grethel and Little Miss Muffet paintings. They're part of a group show here in Anchorage, Alaska at the Middle Way Cafe. The whole show came together so beautifully…more than a dozen artists are included. It

Spilling Her Curds & Whey
One yard high & one foot wide – I think this is going to look great on the golden yellow wall where it will hang for the next month. I kept considering adding the the words "spilling her curds & whey" in a tumbling kind of manner down along the space beside the spider's web.

Patchwork Beginnings
Believe it or not, this is going to be Little Miss Muffet & the spider that frightened her away! This is just part of a 36" tall x 12" wide canvas. It's so funny seeing the painting at this stage. I promise though…I really do have a plan. 🙂 ♥ p.s. Don't forget to leave

Gingerbread House
Still picking away at finishing my Hansel & Grethel painting. It's funny, I always pictured the witches' house as made out of gingerbread & covered with candy. But here's the description from the story, "…the house was built of bread, and roofed with cakes; and the window was of transparent sugar." That's all the detail

Further Along
Their faces, the witch's house, and a bunch of small details still left to do…maybe tomorrow. ♥
