Quite tasty! Another wonderful recipe from the Cupcake Blog. {This one was from back in her May 2006 archives.} They had a great, not-too-sweet, and kind of complicated flavor. I'm not sure if "complicated" is the right word exactly, but it's the one that comes to mind to describe how the fresh spices blend together with the dark chocolate. A lot of different flavor notes.
An added perk for me was that the recipe called for 8 eggs! The hens have been laying very reliably lately, so we had a bit of a surplus. 🙂
