I set out to make a bluebird in a stocking cap, but an owl came out of the clay instead. I tried to put a hat on him, but he didn't want one. 🙂

He's baking in the oven now…fingerprints and all! I can easily get caught up in trying to make my projects 'just so'. Sometimes that's a good thing, but lately that tendency has started to take the joy out of crafting. So tonight I made a point to just have fun, enjoy the process and not worry too much about the outcome.

I know what you mean about making things ‘just so’ I am taking a month off to play with art instaed of having it planned out all the time.
