The girl in my painting finally has a face! That's where I seem to let myself get stuck. I'll get the rest of the painting to a place I'm happy with and then freeze up when it comes to the face & hair. I really like how she turned out though. I'm in the home stretch now ~ more details to come.

Oh, Karen, she is so beautiful! I love the way you do your eyes – they are so soulful! I know what you mean about the faces… I tend to do them first in pastel pencil to see what it will look like before I make it permanent. Faces intimidate me. Your girl looks wonderful! Can’t wait to see the whole painting!! 🙂 Silke
P.S. I am a little dense sometimes and just now (looking at your last post again) realized what those seed packets really were… I’m going to have to get some of those wafers and try them out. Your cookies looked wonderful!!
