Oooo…I've been wanting this Fuji Instax Mini camera for SO long. :) I love the little biz-card size polaroids it takes and I love the click-wrrrr sound of the picture popping out the top of the camera. As you can see, I had to test it out on my chickies. They thought it was cool too.
Plus, how can you not love a 'chocolate' camera?
As much as I was so thrilled when it came in the mail, it only took a few test shots before I knew it needed a little something extra before I would really enjoy using it. I love taking close-up shots and the camera all by itself really didn't work for that. Lucky for me, Holga makes a lot of lenses for my choco!
Now I can really have some fun. :) This is going to take a bit of figuring though, because Polaroid is old-school in more ways than one. Ya can't actually focus this camera. It's literally point and shoot and hope. Once you put a fancy lens on it, the whole operation is even a little more complicated. I'm sure a real photographer would have known this, but I just figured out that the 30mm macro lens will need to be 3 centimeters (yes, I'm American….I can't think in millimeters) away from the object for the photo to be in focus. This will be interesting indeed.
