Light is on the way! At this time of year in Alaska, we greet the morning in the dark and drive home from work in the dark. Winter solstice is that important pivot point after which we finally start gaining light again. I do love Alaska, but if I ever leave – the dark may have more to do with it than the cold. So welcome Solstice!
