This is the first of 8 little Easter baskets I'm making. Love those fuzzy chicks! These photos were taken out in the snow drift that's currently disguising my front yard.
For the last couple weeks I've been collecting small treasures from Etsy & Michaels in preparation for all kinds of spring time craftiness.
Vintage metal Jello molds are serving as wee baskets this year. I drilled holes in the sides to thread handles through.
I've had these hand-painted glass beads for almost 10 years and now finally found the right use for them.
Dainty millinery flowers seemed to give a nice finishing touch.
While looking around in Etsy I also found these sweet muslin bags…
Not sure yet what I'll be filling them with, but I thought they'd make a nice alternative to the baskets.
Peep Peep! :o)
