  • In which the floodgates opened…

Still with me?  If you're just jumping in, we're looking back at some work I made about 7 years ago.  After the first couple, I just had too many ideas to stop!  Over the summer my world became well populated with all kinds of Box People.  {Click the images below to see them a bit

  • Candy!

It's not often I pull out my photography lights just for the joy of messing around with a shoot.  But for Valentines, I'll do it!  Truth be told though, this shot is from last year.  I really like how it came out, but had forgotten to show it.  Better a late debut than none at

  • Watercolor Crayons

Caran d'Ache Neocolor II Artists' Crayons – love 'em!  Watercolors have always seemed a bit intimidating to me.  I have several kinds, but mostly what I do is enjoy looking at them on the shelf.  I put them out on my work table sometimes, as if I might jump right in.  But no.  These artist

  • Marshmallow victory ~ finally!

Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, the candy thermometer broke when I was making these.  I had to use the old fashioned method of dropping the hot sugar mixture in cold water to check the temp.  Haven't tried that since high school, so I wasn't totally confident these would come out.  But whoa Nelly, they

There are definitely fun new things happening, but I don't quite have anything to show for it!   The project I'm most excited about is with a vendor right now – hope to have it back to show you next week.   And the marshmallows I was working on a couple days ago, welll….I'm kind of still
