Utah!
I am SO thrilled to report that I will definitely be going to Art Nest in February! I'm already poking through my art supplies to see what I have and what I'll need. This is going to be wonderful and the perfect way to celebrate my 40th birthday. I'm looking forward to meeting the instructors

Color
The pink Valentines-y nest I made the other day really got me going on color. +I'm still loving how the shape of the wood works into these. Usually I get burnt-out on doing anything repetitive ~ assembly line crafting is just beyond my patience level! But with these, every one can be just enough different

Not a list of resolutions really, but a list of things I'd like to do and experience. Like learn to knit a scarf, or go camping…things like that. Topping my list though

A beautiful day in the neighborhood.
It was crisp & sparkly today. Clear blue sky ~ pretty! But also -5 degrees! Brrrrr. So I laced up my shoes & hopped on the treadmill for awhile. Then…time for more painting:I already like this girl! After much staring at the blank space & trying to see what should go where before I get

Still Learning
I am loving Shiva Artist Paint Sticks! These are the oil paint crayons that I mentioned a couple days ago. I’ve only ever used acrylics for everything and have been totally happy with that. But these oil paint sticks are sooo creamy and blendable. Love ‘em! The only drawback for my impatient self is that
