  • Beluga Point

Beautiful, isn't it?  Took a drive tonight and ended up watching the sunset at Beluga Point.  While I was there, I took a walk around and was able to find several rocks for a project that I've been wanting to try.  If it turns out as hoped, I'll post a photo and explanation.  The cool

  • A little crabby.

Get it?  Crabby?  Ya, I went for the easy joke!  :o)  This noble guy looked somehow like a sentry with his stick of straw.  These are a few images from our recent trip to the Oregon coast. An interesting shrine that someone had left on the beach at Arch Cape:

  • Prezzies

I’ve been experimenting with these needle felted presents.  They started out being tiny – about 1″ square.  But – just like when I make chocolate chip cookies – each one gets a little bigger than the last!  The one with the orange bow is about a 2″.  They’re really fun to make though – so

  • ‘shrooms

Recently, in the morning when I blearily crack the back door open to let the dog out, I’ve been spying this cute family of mushrooms.  They’ve hardily been pushing their way up through some old porch boards in the backyard.  Happy August!

  • A little more wise every day.

This is the first in a new series I’m working on of Wise Women.  Each one is intended to be a reminder of our best self for those days when we’re just not with it.  As my friend Carey might say, this woman “has her Zen sh*t together”.  Here’s to that!

  • Kodiak

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Kodiak, Alaska.  So pretty!  I don't normally post so many photos, but I had a hard time narrowing it down.  Hope you enjoy them: This is the view from the end of the boat docks where I had my soy mocha at 6:30 a.m. – crazy early for
