Wreaths in the Works
I went shopping tonight and found things to make 2 wreaths – 1 with a bird theme: And one with a cupcake theme – I’ll be using some of my little felt pin cushions that look like cupcakes on this one: I thought I would have both projects finished to show you tonight, but after

S’more please
A friend of mine used to call Marshmallows "schmoes", which I find very cute. So in honor of him – it’s a felt Schmoe! (And happily, I think my stitching is getting better – yay!) I’m also working on a little box to keep your S’mores ingredients handy in: Hope everyone had a nice holiday

Floaty Girls
Tumbling out of the sky or floating up into the clouds? They look to be at peace with wherever life takes them.

Of Mice and Mail
These are the little mice I drew yesterday and I think I’ll make cards out of them. Oliver has come to court Miss Macy Mouse. They would make a nice couple, don’t you think? And – gifts in the mail! :0) Even though I shouldn’t be shopping for myself right before Christmas, I bought these

The guy at MincingMockingbird is seriously funny. My

Bjork inspired = extra long post
Hmmm….ok, I’m trying to finish a piece I’ve been working on for – no kidding – 3 YEARS. I know. I call her "bird girl" and really she started out as a self-portrait of sorts. I keep thinking I need to paint her, but I really like the plain white. I may just coat her

Finds!
I came across these talented artists and just had to share them: Lori Brown, who makes wonderful, colorful, weird, alien creatures. I loooove her work – especially the sculptures that you can see many of on her blog. They make me want to get back to work on some of my 3D projects. Very inspiring
